After migrating to Australia from his native Japan, Shigeki discovered his passion for house music when he hit the clubs on Sydney's famous Oxford Street scene in 1999. This experience was the catalyst for a sea-change and within a few short years was born one of the hottest stars on Sydney's club music scene after scoring weekly residencies at Sydney's legendary venues, Stonewall and Midnightshift.

Having established himself as a credible master of the decks for the club crowds week after week, and admired for his impecible technical mixing and inspiring track choices, Shigeki graduated to bigger events and his dynamic and unique sound captured the hearts and attention of local and interstate promoters. It wasn't long before Shigeki had some of the Southern Hemisphere's biggest premier events on his resume: Sydney Mardi Gras Party, Sleaze Ball, Homesexual, Harbour Party, Inquisition and Toybox to name but a few.

In 2005 Shigeki made his international debut at Happy in Singapore and this spurred his subsequent relocation to the island 3 years later. Having relocated to one of SE Asia's nightlife hubs, Shigeki was able to grow his international following - he has been a guest DJ for many Atlantis cruises in the US, Europe and SE Asia, and has spun at Singapore's Play, Taboo, Privé, House and Home clubs as well as internationally in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bali, Hong Kong, Osaka, Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei.

Shigeki's fans know that he always delivers the goods when it comes to soulful and uplifting house music. He combines this signature style with tribal and tech-injected beats with driving rhythms and sublime melodies. Those that follow him online via his website and Facebook pages eagerly await the regular release of tailor-made mixed sets and re-edits of the freshest tracks on the charts.

Shigeki is currently working on original productions and will be unveiling a few surprises to dancefloors around the world soon. The future looks bright for this ever evolving musical craftsman.
